What is the Open Doors Gentofte concept?
Open Doors is an association of artists in Gentofte Municipality who for the past 23 years have opened their homes and studios to give art lovers the opportunity to experience the artists in their own environment.
This event should be seen as an opportunity to create a dialog and contact between the artists and the audience and buy works directly from them. Here, visitors enter the private atmosphere, meet the artist at eye level and get a unique experience, as well as the opportunity to talk about the works outside the more established exhibition spaces where the works are otherwise exhibited and sold.
Enjoy a delightful experience in the local area through visual challenges in expressive, abstract, figurative and subtle paintings, as well as illustration, ceramics, glass, textiles, photography, drawing and mixed media.
Leaflets will be available at local libraries around the first of April 2019.
